 BNGLE BUNGLE INFO

Bording the Northern Territory of Australia, the Bungle Bungles are considered sacred and a feat of geographical majesty.
The area was discovered by a film team during the 1980s and has since drawn crowds from all the world.

The Bungle Bungles, is located within the Purnululu National Park in Western Australia. The nearest major town is Kununarra or Halls Creek.

Geologists have said that 350 million years ago during the Devonian Era, this region was a large marine deposit. Over the course of hundreds of millions of years and rainfall, this structure has since been eroded away to form was is now the present formation of domes, cliffs and gorges.

Access to the Bungle Bungles is by either flight or 4 Wheel Drive. The area is extremely remote and unforgiving. However, once in the Bungle Bungle region, travel by foot is a must to fully appreciate the area.
